The Stump Removal:
A stump grinder with a powerful spinning wheel outfitted with carbide inserts will cut away the stump surface roots and dirt in the desired area. We insure this grinding is completed to a depth of at least 6-8". This is sufficient in most cases to allow for future plans in the area. When necessary, depths of 2 feet or greater can be achieved. This is unusual and is performed upon request for driveways, foundations, fences or other construction work for additional fees.
The Stump Grinding Results:
The debris produced from the process is mulched wood mixed with dirt. It is heavier than landscaping mulch due to the dirt mixed with it. Any able bodied person can manage this material. The amount of material will generally be about 3 times the volume of the material above ground at the start of the project. Typically the material is rough graded right in place to level the hole and any excess material piled in the area or leveled across a larger area. Excess material can be can be loaded, hauled away and disposed of for additional fees.
The Tree Stump Removal Preparation:
It all starts with a call, voice message, or a text to 864-485-5544. I will call or message back to set up a time window for a quote. I will confirm my arrival time again when I am travelling to your location. I'll review the area and work to be performed, and provide you with a detailed written quote. Once you tell me to proceed, I will contact 811 as necessary to have public utilities marked. The utility marking process generally takes 4 working days. We can only set a tentative schedule for work before the markings are complete. I check 811 tickets daily and will contact you to schedule when the markings are complete.
I take personal pride in the reputation of Grinder Stump Removal, the performance of the work, as well as the interactions with the customers. I would appreciate your review, as well as your feedback if something could have been handled differently.
